Nicaragua Las Diosas

Just Coffee Cooperative is partnering with Las Diosas to bring you yet again, another incredible coffee.

"Las Diosas" (literally, "The Goddesses") is a network of four small grower cooperatives dedicated to the respect for women's rights, as well as the promotion of issues with women's rights at the center. In just under 20 years since its founding, this relatively small organization (consisting of only 250 members) has made big strides in both production capacity and social politics.

Unfortunately, much of Latin America was hit hard by La Roya and drought, and Las Diosas suffered catastrophic losses of both coffee and other crops. Through our work with On The Ground, we have been able to help support this incredible co-op in overcoming this drought by offering them financial support to help put food on their table as well as educate them in organic & sustainable practices to battle La Roya and other agricultural concerns.
